Getting political again.
2008 November 14
This week’s Ten on Tuesday Thursday: 10 predictions for the next 4 years. I don’t want to dive straight into the political pool, so I’m going to switch between political predictions and predictions for my own life.
- Guantanamo will be a big deal. Obama said he would shut it down, but didn’t delineate any of the details of his plan. No matter what he decides to do with the prisoners, there is going to be an uproar.
- Congress will vote on an amendment to the constitution concerning gay marriage.
- I won’t graduate from college. I will still be going to UVU.
- There will be some ridiculous scandal surrounding Vice President elect Joe Biden. The far right will call for impeachment, but it won’t happen.
- There will be a huge dramatic happening in my family.
- Michelle Obama will become the ideal American woman; Jackie O.-style. The press will hound her constantly about inconsequential things.
- I will get angry with the Communications Department and switch my major for two months.
- There will be no big changes concerning immigration. The system will keep doing what it’s doing.
- I will be in a car accident.
- I will obtain another feline.
